New York City is a street photographer’s paradise. Everywhere you look you have heart warming subjects teasing you to click the shutter. One of the best part of candid street photography in New York City is the warmth & friendliness of its people.
There have been so many countless occasions when I have literally stopped someone & had them get me the right shot. There are so many times when I have been called by someone asking me if I would photograph them!
These candid street photos were done in various parts of New York City along the 6th Avenue, 8th Avenue, 42nd Street, 51st Street to 110th Street including Times Square & Central Park.
The candid photos here include those of Caroline Desangles, Benjamin, Eddie Rapp, Ayub & Alysha amongst others. I have known them from my time in New York City & they have helped me time and again to make memorable moments with my cameras.
These editorial & street portraits are taken in ambient conditions on the streets using Nikon D200 digital & Nikon F100 film cameras & relevant street photography gears in my bag.
